Lab Supervisor - Chemistry

About the role

Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely test results. Supervise and mentor staff, manage workflow and staffing, and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory activities and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform technical work as needed
• Monitor equipment and quality assurance
• Implement process improvements
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll and documentation

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a science field
• 4+ years of clinical testing experience
• Licensure in chemistry
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, supervisory experience, and certifications such as ASCP or AMT
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations
• Attention to detail, communication, organization, and computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change
• Must pass a color blindness test
