We need to remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we should remove the EEO paragraph at end, also the "Visit https://..." maybe considered application instructions? It's a link to learn more; maybe we keep as part of benefits? It's not application instructions per se but could be considered. The instruction says remove application instructions. The "Visit ... to learn more!" is likely an application instruction (link to careers). Safer to remove that line.
Also remove duplicated lines: "Must possess human relations, communications, and management skills." appears twice (once in REQUIREMENTS and again in WHAT YOU WILL DO list). We should keep only one occurrence? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Duplicate lines: we should not duplicate; we can keep one instance. Probably we should deduplicate.
Also "Must have experience in human relations, communications and management skills" appears in REQUIREMENTS. So we have similar content. We'll keep one bullet for that skill.
Now decide sections.
We have:
- General Summary: could be "About the role" (or maybe "About the role" as heading). The GENERAL SUMMARY is a prose description. So we can put
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate.

Now decide sections.
We have:
- General Summary: could be "About the role" (or maybe "About the role" as heading). The GENERAL SUMMARY is a prose description. So we can put About the role
Plans, manages, coordinates and supervises the activities of the phlebotomy department. Has responsibility for quality and quantity of work, procedures, methods, costs, and personnel of the sections.
- Requirements: we have certification, degree, specialty certification preferred, 3 years experience, human relations/communications/management skills. That's requirements/qualifications. Could combine intoRequirements
with- ... items.
- Responsibilities: the WHAT YOU WILL DO list is duties. So
Responsibilities
with- .
- Benefits: The "Highlights and Benefits" paragraph includes benefits description. Also there is mention of market-competitive pay, generous PTO, multiple options for comprehensive benefits that begin on day one, retirement planning and matching, college savings plans, multiple life insurance plans, Employee Assistance Programs, tuition reimbursement, educational opportunities. So we can create
Benefits
with- items.
- Pay: The posting mentions "market-competitive pay" but not specific numbers. According to rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state "market-competitive pay" which is a statement about pay, albeit vague. The rule says: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "market-competitive pay" is not a specific number but it's a statement. Is that considered filler? It's vague but it's a statement about pay. The rule says avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". "market-competitive pay" is similar vague. I'd interpret that we should not create a Pay section unless there is actual numeric or specific pay info. Since it's just "market-competitive pay", better to omit Pay section. The benefits section can include mention of pay as part of benefits? Possibly we can include "market-competitive pay" as a bullet under Benefits. That seems acceptable.
- Schedule: The posting includes Employment Type: Full time, Shift: Day Shift. That's schedule info. Should we create a Schedule section? The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state Shift: Day Shift and Employment Type: Full time. That's schedule info. So we can create a Schedule section with that info. However we need to avoid filler like "not specified". It's specified. So we can include
Schedule
Full time, Day Shift
. Or maybe as- but it's simple.
- About the role: we already have.
- Qualifications: Could be separate from Requirements? The posting lumps certification, degree, experience under REQUIREMENTS. Could treat as Qualifications. But we already have Requirements. We could keep Requirements as the section. Qualifications maybe redundant. We'll just have Requirements.
- Skills: Could extract human relations, communications, management skills as Skills section. But we already have them in Requirements. To avoid thin sections, we can keep them within Requirements.
Thus sections: About the role, Requirements, Responsibilities, Benefits, Schedule.
Check for any other sections like "Qualifications" maybe not needed.
Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no markdown fences.
We need to ensure we preserve all substantive information. Let's extract details.
About the role: "Plans, manages, coordinates and supervises the activities of the phlebotomy department. Has responsibility for quality and quantity of work, procedures, methods, costs, and personnel of the sections."
Requirements bullet list:
- Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent certification by ASCP or AMT required; or certification as a Histotechnologist or Cytotechnologist by a recognized agency preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Health Related Science field required.
- Specialty certification for the specific laboratory section(s) preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a specialty area(s) preferred.
- Must have experience in human relations, communications, and management skills.
Note: The original also says "Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent certification..." It seems missing commas but we can parse.
We'll produce list items.
Responsibilities bullet list: need to capture each duty from WHAT YOU WILL DO list. Let's list them:
1. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
2. Hires, trains, orients, and promotes teamwork and mentors department colleagues.
3. Plans, prepares and coordinates work schedules to provide adequate coverage and efficient use of team to maintain high department productivity.
4. Effectively prioritizes work within the assigned department to maintain maximum efficiency.
5. Plans, develops, prepares and maintains assigned procedure manuals according to regulatory requirements.
6. Ensures that department or shift personnel provide accurate
