We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab & Shipping Specialist to support shipping and logistics operations, quality control laboratory activities, and PDS product inspection and packaging. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and on-time delivery to customers. Responsibilities

  • Shipping, Receiving & Export
    • Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery.
    • Prepare shipping, export, and customs documentation, including bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, and tariff documentation.
    • Maintain compliance with U.S. Customs laws and export regulations.
    • Pack finished goods to customer specifications while ensuring product integrity.
    • Load, unload, receive, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ERP transactions.
    • Coordinate shipment schedules with production and planning teams.
    • Communicate with freight providers, customer service, and internal stakeholders.
    • Verify packaging, labeling, and documentation accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Quality Control Laboratory Support
    • Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
    • Prepare and analyze samples using quality control laboratory equipment and procedures.
    • Monitor product quality and identify non-conforming materials.
    • Accurately record and maintain test results and documentation.
    • Prioritize laboratory work to support production requirements.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and basic troubleshooting.
    • Follow ISO quality systems and internal procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
  • PDS Inspection & Packaging
    • Inspect products to ensure compliance with manufacturing and customer specifications.
    • Perform final quality inspections before shipment.
    • Package products according to requirements while ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
    • Complete work orders, inventory updates, and ERP transactions.
    • Coordinate inspection and packaging activities to meet customer deadlines.
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate finished goods records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, export compliance, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as QAD or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical, science, logistics, or related field.
  • Experience in quality control or laboratory testing.
  • Experience supporting multiple operational functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds on a periodic basis.
  • Ability to work in both manufacturing and laboratory environments.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.

Pay

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
