LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer I
What's the Job?
Develop proficiency in the operation and functionality of key analytical laboratory equipment
Collaborate with equipment vendors to commission analytical instruments and ensure compliance with site requirements
Create and update analytical test methods in accordance with established site standards
Lead assigned analytical laboratory projects to support operational and continuous-improvement objectives
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to GMP rules and regulations
What's Needed?
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an analytical or manufacturing laboratory environment
- Experience with laboratory equipment commissioning, including setup, verification, documentation, and readiness for routine use
- Experience developing or refining analytical test methods, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and alignment with laboratory standards
- Familiarity with GMP rules and regulations, with the ability to follow compliance requirements and maintain proper documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field
- Equivalent practical laboratory experience and demonstrated chemical knowledge may also be considered
