Lab Chemistry Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Reviews the Chemistry workflow and assumes responsibility for results reported under his/her supervision.
• Maintains the supplies and reagents in the department.
• Completes and ensures accuracy of all Proficiency Testing surveys done in the department.
• Reviews and is responsible for department Quality Control (Q.C.).

Requirements

• Valid Clinical Lab Scientist license issued by the state of California.
• Demonstrates the ability to supervise and instruct personnel in one or more departments of the clinical lab.
• Has at least five years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated above-average judgment and technical skills.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
