Lab Automation & AI Specialist

What’s the Job?

Assess analytical laboratory workflows and identify high-impact opportunities for automation, AI implementation, and process improvement. Design and implement automation solutions that reduce manual data handling, streamline reporting, and improve operational efficiency. Develop and deploy AI-assisted tools for QC review, data validation, trend analysis, outlier detection, and result summarization. Collaborate with laboratory, QA, IT, and LIMS teams to ensure automation solutions are practical, scalable, and compliant with quality standards. Create SOPs, validation documentation, user guides, and training materials while supporting adoption of new technologies across laboratory teams.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical, QA, metrology, or manufacturing laboratory environments
• Experience with laboratory automation, process improvement, digital transformation initiatives, or AI-enabled workflow solutions
• Familiarity with LIMS/LabWare, analytical instrumentation (such as ICP-MS), quality systems, and regulated laboratory environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across laboratory, QA, and technical teams while driving organizational change
