Lab Associate-Evening Shift

Essential Role Responsibilities

• Technical Responsibilities: Processes and transports routine and stat specimens, complies with all established guidelines to ensure specimen integrity.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Identifies and collects specimens accurately and timely, complies with established policies regarding specimen labeling.
• Clerical Responsibilities: Enters orders and performs registration accurately, utilizes hospital standards for phone etiquette, maintains accurate and organized written records.

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of approved phlebotomy program preferred
• Completion of Phlebotomy Internship preferred
• 1 year experience preferred

Skills

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred

Pay

Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.26 per hour
