Lab Associate Evening Shift

Essential Role Responsibilities

• Technical Responsibilities: Processes and transports routine and stat specimens while complying with established guidelines to ensure specimen integrity.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Identifies and collects specimens accurately and promptly, adhering to established policies for specimen labeling.
• Clerical Responsibilities: Enters orders and performs registrations accurately and promptly, utilizing hospital standards for phone etiquette.

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of approved phlebotomy program preferred
• Completion of Phlebotomy Internship preferred
• 1 year experience preferred

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred

Pay

The pay range listed for this position is $21.00 - $28.26 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
