Lab Associate- Per Diem Evening Shift

Essential Role Responsibilities

• Technical Responsibilities: Processes and transports routine and stat specimens, adhering to quality control guidelines.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Identifies and collects specimens accurately and promptly, following established policies for specimen labeling.
• Clerical Responsibilities: Enters orders and performs registrations accurately, utilizing hospital standards for phone etiquette, and maintaining organized records.
• Supplies Management: Monitors inventory and ensures areas are neat and organized.

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of approved phlebotomy program preferred
• Completion of Phlebotomy Internship preferred
• 1 year experience preferred

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred

Pay

The pay range listed for this position is $21.00 - $28.26 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, job responsibilities, and geographic location. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
