Lab Assistant - Recent College Grad - Sciences

What You'll Do

• Perform laboratory processes such as extractions, filtrations, clarification, and compounding activities.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including centrifuges, freeze dryers, ball mills, pH meters, and other specialized instruments.
• Follow calibration, verification, and quality procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, cleaning logs, maintenance records, and quality paperwork.
• Support inventory and production-related activities through SAP and other internal systems.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or another science-related discipline.
• Laboratory experience through coursework, undergraduate research, internships, co-ops, or professional work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain documentation.
• Interest in scientific manufacturing, laboratory operations, or pharmaceutical/biotech careers.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and software systems.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow professionally.
• Ability to work full-time on a fixed day shift schedule.

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Washington, NY.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
