Lab Assistant Processor - Lab Services - Kelsey Seybold Clinics: Main Campus

About the role

The Lab Assistant/Processor Specialist processes clinical specimens received in the laboratory. This includes specimen collection, order entry, and processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes clinical specimens according to approved procedures
• Enters orders and maintains accurate records
• Works independently and prioritizes tasks effectively
• Maintains a teamwork mindset and is open to new learning experiences
• Accepts assignments to various work locations within Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide outstanding customer service
• Demonstrated excellent time management skills

Qualifications

• 1+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing (preferred)
• Lab Data Entry experience (preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Schedule

Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
