Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an ability to learn job duties and understand how functions in Tech Ops and Specimen Processing work together.
- Identifies and resolves issues with specimen types, missing information, sorting, racking, centrifuging, delivery, and storage of specimens.
- Develops understanding of compliance policies related to test ordering, including researching test order information using translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services.
- Maintains quality and production standards within 6 months of training.
- Completes required written documentation in a clear, legible, and timely manner.
- Reports to work on time and follows attendance guidelines.
- Supports the department in case of coworker absences.
- Learns additional functions within Tech Ops and Specimen Processing to progress to the next level.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Previous experience in a production environment preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory (preferred).

Pay
Pay range: $17.75+ per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and market and organizational factors.
Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
