Responsibilities

• Supports technical staff in specimen collection, processing, and analysis.
• Accurately collects and labels specimens according to laboratory policies.
• Registers and logs specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Resolves problematic patient specimens and test orders with laboratory staff and clients.
• Operates laboratory information systems for accurate data entry and workflow management.
• Restocks supplies and participates in departmental committees and projects.

Requirements

• Laboratory experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
• Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring, inspiring and motivating others.

Qualifications
