Lab Assistant-Outpatient Clinic(Tiffany Springs)

Join our lab team at NKC Health in our Tiffany Springs outpatient clinic (10161 N Ambassador Dr.) where you'll be part of a dedicated group of professionals caring for patients with compassion and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of Clinical Supervisors, Medical Laboratory Scientists, and Lab Coordinators, perform receptionist, processor, and phlebotomist duties to serve patients.
• Accurately register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
• Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clinical departments to resolve registration or order issues.
• Provide courteous, professional service to patients and families.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital/clinic safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• 1-2 years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
