Lab Assistant

About the role

This is a Specimen Processing role where you will process and handle specimens for testing in the clinical and anatomic areas of the laboratory. The work you do makes a tremendous impact on our patients and the community.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle specimens for testing in clinical and anatomic laboratory areas
• Work with a top team of medical professionals and train under a Laboratory Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy experience required for Paoli campus
• Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred
• Moderate knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent verbal, written, computer, and clerical skills

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or related field preferred

Schedule

Full Time – Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday with weekend rotation and holidays as needed by the organization.
