About the role

You will perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored. Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions. Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements while championing safety, compliance, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Process, prepare, route, and store laboratory specimens
• Identify and implement corrective actions when needed
• Maintain safety, compliance, and quality control standards
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict confidentiality and privacy standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (e.g., telephones, computers, centrifuges, audible alarms)

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production

Pay

$17.50–$25.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
