Lab Aide

Job Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, assists technicians and laboratory scientists with data or specimen collection and laboratory procedures. Performs laboratory related housekeeping, clerical and storekeeping duties.

Additional Duties

• Collects specimens
• Performs EKG’s
• Conducts Vision/Hearing Screenings
• Maintains lab supplies
• Prepares/organizes lab supplies/equipment
• Aids with specimen collection, labeling, and transport
• Maintains accurate logs/documentation of specimens/equipment
• Processes lab instruments and lab results

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma/GED.
