Responsibilities
- Performs waived and up to moderate complexity testing on manual, automated, semi-automated platforms
- Processes specimens and specimen setup in accordance with department policy and procedure
- Affords assistance to Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Histology Tech (HT), and Cytotechnologist (CT) with daily operations
- Carries out instrument maintenance, quality control, and troubleshooting
- Performs Laboratory Assistant function
- Shares skills within the department
