Lab Aide 2

Responsibilities

• Picking up glass and plastic ware from manufacturing, QC and R&D labs.
• Maintain and organize dishwashing, and storage rooms.
• Daily, weekly, monthly and as-needed logging of various information on data sheets.
• Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory of lab supplies.
• Maintain overall cleanliness in areas of responsibility.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external personnel.
• Perform or coordinate routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Absorb and apply company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
• Recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
• Follows established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience.

Skills

• Ability to pick up and organize glass and plastic ware.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and its maintenance.
• Proficiency in data logging and inventory management.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols.

Pay

$19.42 - $29.13 per hour
