About the role

CookieYes is seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team. We are the #1 cookie consent solution, trusted by 1.5 Million+ websites, and we help businesses achieve compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA through our custom cookie banner, script blocking, and consent management features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for our Consent Management Platform (CMP).
• Implement custom layouts, designs, and text for cookie banners, including CSS and custom branding.
• Ensure proper auto-blocking of third-party cookies and granular cookie control.
• Work on automating website scanning to generate detailed cookie audit reports.
• Integrate with various platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace.
• Build and maintain features related to user consent logs, geotargeting, and Google Consent Mode.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a software developer, preferably in web development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with web technologies and frameworks relevant to our stack.
• Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and cookie consent mechanisms is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
