LA / OC Global Finance Mid-Level Associate

About the role

Paul Hastings' Global Finance team is seeking Mid-Level Associates with at least three years of experience to join the firm's market-leading practice. Ideal candidates will have experience executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements. Asset based lending experience a plus but not required. The group's clients consist of many high-profile bank and nonbank lenders, including private debt funds, BDCs, mezzanine funds and hedge funds. Associates may sit in our Los Angeles or Orange County office.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex finance transactions and credit arrangements
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to understand their needs and provide strategic advice
• Assist in the negotiation and documentation of financial agreements
• Provide legal support in the structuring and implementation of financing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials
• Law firm experience
• Admission to the California Bar

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in finance or related field
• Experience with asset based lending is preferred but not required
