L&D RN - Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse to provide compassionate care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Flexibility to float across campuses is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Administer medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families throughout the birthing process

Requirements

• Active Iowa or multistate RN license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in postpartum, mother-baby, and labor & delivery care
• Experience with C-section, vaginal delivery, and triage
• Certifications: intermediate or advanced EFM / AWHONN, BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Completion of at least one travel assignment in the past year
