Kubernetes Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure in a Linux environment
• Develop Kubernetes controllers and operators to support system automation
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions
• Support Kubernetes cloud architecture design and deployment
• Engineer and optimize Container Network Interfaces (CNI) across Kubernetes environments
• Evaluate network performance, scalability, and cybersecurity posture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system integration and testing phases

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be maintained)
• U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
• Strong experience with Kubernetes architecture and containerized environments
• Proficiency in Linux-based development environments
• Experience developing software and/or automation within Kubernetes ecosystems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software design and development best practices
• Background in software testing (unit, qualification, etc.)
• Experience supporting Integration & Test (I&T) phases (system and subsystem levels)
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, including: Bug fixes, long-term system support and maintenance
• Experience tracking and improving software quality, including static code analysis
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
