About the role

We are looking for a dedicated coordinating counselor with strong social skills and a passion for making a difference. As part of Copenhagen Municipality’s Housing First initiative, you will support citizens transitioning from crisis centers to independent living. Our approach is recovery-oriented and tailored to each individual, believing everyone has the potential for change. You will join an experienced team where supervision, professional collaboration, and a strong collegial environment are prioritized. Responsibilities

• Support and guide citizens in areas such as housing, finances, childcare, health, and social networks.
• Coordinate and bridge relevant public and voluntary services for each citizen.
• Strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration with authorities, civil society, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the development of our Housing First initiative through professional growth and innovation.

Requirements

• Relevant social work education (e.g., social worker, social pedagogue, or equivalent).
• Experience working with adults and children affected by domestic violence.
• Passion for making a difference and developing new solutions.
• Ability to thrive with independent responsibility and close collaboration with other agencies.
• Commitment to an open and inclusive work environment.

Pay

Employment is based on the current collective agreement (non-academic) with salary determined within the framework of local wage negotiations.

Schedule

The position is full-time (37 hours per week), primarily during daytime hours, with an expectation of flexibility. The start date is October 1, 2026.
