About the role
We're looking for a Model Bartender who can do more than mix drinks—you'll create memorable moments that keep guests talking long after their stay. As a Model Bartender, you will expertly prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment. Most importantly, you’ll set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience with your warm personality, welcoming smile, and attentive service.
Responsibilities
- Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed.
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.
- Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar.
- Ring beverages that are poured or served, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork.
- Provide apprentice bartender and bar porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service, and bartending.
- Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar.
- Participate in modeling, presentations, and promotions programs throughout the casino and resort if applicable.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1+ years of prior relevant experience in food & beverage, cocktail service, nightclub, or entertainment venue.
Schedule
- Full-time, day shift on Wednesday (shift starts at 11:15am) through Sunday (shift starts at 9:15am).
- Off on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Pay
The starting rate for this role is $9.50 per hour plus tips. The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is $0 - $13,800. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
