About the Role

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a Knowledge Sharing Network professional / Waterfront Representative (Corrosion Prevention) to support Program Executive Office – Maritime (PEO Maritime). This role supports readiness by improving knowledge sharing and ship maintenance information flow across Surface Fleet stakeholders, with a focus on corrosion prevention and control.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the waterfront representative, leveraging expertise in ship maintenance policies and processes to ensure material readiness and effective planning/execution of depot maintenance availabilities.
  • Provide oversight, direction, and advisory in major maintenance/modernization planning and execution.
  • Ensure lessons learned in advanced planning and execution are applied across all ship classes.
  • Ensure compliance with Fleet Maintenance and Modernization policies.
  • Define maintenance requirements and manage maintenance to maximize readiness for assigned ships and teams.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence on surface ship maintenance progress, problems, and solutions.
  • Investigate significant incidents affecting costs, schedule adherence, contractor performance, and material support.
  • Develop risk-assessed evaluations of new or growth work modifications.
  • Propose improvements for future modernization planning activities.
  • Participate in special projects to improve maintenance management processes or surface ship maintenance execution.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings for leadership, distilling complex information into clear, actionable formats.
  • Provide expertise in corrosion prevention and control, including maintenance planning, mitigation, materials, coatings, tools, and repair processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree // OR // Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience // OR // High School Diploma with 12 years of experience.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Direct experience with surface ship maintenance policies, processes, and strategies, including specialized knowledge of corrosion control and mitigation.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills with a client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID requirements.
  • U.S. Citizenship and current authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with project management and risk mitigation.
  • U.S. Military experience, particularly with the U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard.
  • Executive-level oral and written communication skills.

Work Environment

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods and work in confined areas. Occasional travel (11-20%).

Physical Demands

Expected salary range: $90,000 - $110,000. This position is contingent on contract modification and funding.
