About the role

We are looking for talented IT professionals to support the IRS with their IT Modernization needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the design and implementation of new information systems to help meet business requirements.
• Consult to help refine and translate functional requirements into programming specifications, as well as test, debug and maintain software programs.
• Develop & implement major systems to ensure the efficient acquisition, storage and retrieval of data.
• Develop and implement IT projects, strategies, plans and procedures.
• Investment analysis and control, workforce planning and the development of project evaluation standards.
• Monitor and manage project resources and activities and identify and analyze IT systems requirements and environments.
• Use of configuration management tools and processes for software development.
• Data mining, data warehousing and other data management applications.
• Plan, design, develop, test, integrate and deploy Web-based applications that interface with existing hardware and software.
• Install, configure, and maintain large operating systems, including mainframes, system servers and operating system software.

Requirements

We are only able to consider candidates that have an IRS MBI Clearance (or have held one within the last two (2) years.)
