ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist servers with table clearing, cleaning, and setting
- Maintain the bar's stock levels during service
- Aid fellow team members and other departments
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Complete side work such as polishing/rolling silverware, stocking condiments and glasses, sweeping and cleaning as directed by supervisor
- Practice "clean as you go" method and sanitation standards
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Receive incoming calls and provide information in a polite and professional manner
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
- Follow proper cashiering functions by completing/closing guest checks and submitting information into POS system
