Job Summary
Under supervision of the Superintendent, the school custodian/maintenance performs routine cleaning work on assignments in the district; does assigned maintenance at district sites; minor construction and repair on school buildings and grounds; performs a wide variety of skilled maintenance repairs; and performs other related work as required and assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalent Certificate
- Experience in custodial and building/grounds maintenance work
- Any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above
Additional Requirements
- Fingerprint check and TB test must be successfully completed by the first day of service
- Must have a valid driver's license, maintain insurability, and allow access to have a DMV Pull notice annually
- First Aid/CPR certificates must be acquired and renewed as required
- Must obtain/maintain any mandated certifications or training as needed
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Range: $22.66 - $32.99 Per Hour
- Length of Work Year: 238 days/year
- Employment Type: Full Time
