About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Nurse to work as part of the Aberdeen City Community Learning Disability Team. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate professional leadership and provide evidence-based interventions to achieve positive and effective health outcomes for people who have learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs in both inpatient and community settings.
- Evidence advanced communication skills and knowledge of legislation relevant to this client group.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and standards of practice.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality care services.
Requirements
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
- Desirable community experience.
- Current full driving license and access to a car for work purposes.

Pay
Salary range: £25,832 - £30,484 per annum.
