Kitting / Decanting (Industrial Solutions)

About the role

This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC.

Job Purpose

We’re building a brand-new state-of-the-art facility dedicated to creating power generation systems for data centers and microgrid applications. This new hub will be at the heart of BorgWarner’s latest growth initiative, bringing together engineering, innovation, and technology in one dynamic space.

Key Responsibilities

• Kitting
• Assemble sets of parts based on work orders
• Accurately match SKUs
• Pack kits for production or shipping
• Perform light assembly work as needed
• Decanting
• Open cartons and remove bulk products
• Sort items into bins or totes
• Scan items into inventory systems
• Prepare items for put away or picking
• Keep work area in orderly condition with respect to proper materials, tools, equipment, and personal belongings
• (Includes cleaning of equipment, floors, tables, etc.)
• Maintain quality standards by following proper inspection procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with inbound receiving or unloading trucks is a plus
• Basic shop math required (decimals, addition, subtraction, fractions)
• Attendance on the job is essential
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail (critical for accuracy)

Pay & Benefits

All positions start at an above market pay rate for that position. Benefits are also above market and include the following for all full-time employees:

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.96 - $23.28.
