Kitchen Supervisor

About the role

As Kitchen Supervisor you will oversee daily kitchen operations while stepping in for the Kitchen Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal laws/regulations
• Hire, train, and cross-train kitchen staff in specific stations
• Create schedules to meet demand, especially during the lunch rush
• Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
• Respond personally to guest comments, complaints, and concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
• Comply with company, franchise, and regulatory agency standards for food preparation and presentation
• Assume Kitchen Manager duties in their absence

Requirements

• 2+ years of culinary experience; supervisory experience a plus
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Experience delegating tasks and maintaining fast speed of service

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
