Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and support daily kitchen operations across resort dining outlets.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to Omni standards and recipes.
- Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and developing culinary team members.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Support inventory management, ordering, and proper food storage procedures.
- Absorb and minimize waste and control food costs.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Address operational challenges and assist in resolving guest concerns when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
