About the role
The Kitchen Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Manage inventory and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff to coordinate tasks
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
