KITCHEN PORTER
Contract: Casual Worker
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus service charge
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Moonfleet Manor, part of the Luxury Family Hotel group. Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and will include some weekends.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all plates, crockery, and cooking equipment is cleaned: oversee the pot wash area of the kitchen and ensure that all crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment is cleaned efficiently and correctly.
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: keep your station clean and tidy throughout your shift and at the end of your shift ready for handover.
- Ensure your work area is safe and any chemicals used are handled correctly: maintain a safe environment by cleaning spillages and following correct safety procedures, particularly when using chemicals.
Requirements
- Food Hygiene level 2 is beneficial but not essential.
- Charisma, an engaging personality, and a passion for providing great service to our guests.
- Ability to keep calm and focused during busy service while maintaining a clean and tidy station.
