Kitchen Manager

Full-Time, Onsite position with Elior-Collegiate-Dining at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY.

About the role

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Kitchen Manager to our team. As a kitchen manager, you will supervise and participate in the preparation of meals for various locations as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise culinary operations of retail and catering services.
• Plan menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations.
• Confer with district managers or other departments regarding daily aspects of dining service.
• Direct and coordinate the work of kitchen staff.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Certification by a recognized culinary institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• At least three years’ experience in culinary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications (Nice-to-haves)

• At least one year’s experience in a similar role.

Pay

Up to $50,000 per year, based on experience.
