Kitchen Manager

About the role

As a Kitchen Manager at Bubba’s 33, you’ll oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring the purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting of all food products is done in a timely manner according to established recipes and procedures. Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food consistent with established recipes and procedures.
• Enforce compliance with all employment policies and ensure restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times.
• Manage performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Provide daily feedback to develop key employees, assistant managers, and hourly staff.
• Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.
• Oversee proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all kitchen items.
• Manage and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Control food costs, track waste, and manage kitchen labor costs.
• Set hours, create weekly schedules, and assign tasks for Back of House employees.
• Train Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hiring for Back of House roles.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and operational goals.
