About the role

This kitchen crew member is responsible for food preparation, guest service, and cash handling in accordance with departmental standards at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium.

Responsibilities

• Greet each guest upon arrival and receive payments.
• Set up cash drawer and prepare cashier supplies before shift starts.
• Ensure accuracy in computing bills, providing correct change, and issuing receipts.
• Closely monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Prepare various hot and cold dishes following recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of kitchen equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Perform multiple tasks during shifts, including cooking, serving, and dishwashing.
• Ensure quality assurance by visually inspecting food and maintaining proper storage.
• Clean work areas and equipment, including dishwashing machines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of related experience in a similar role.
• Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification.
• Must have and maintain a valid racing license.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of gaming operations, and ability to multi-task are essential.

Skills

Knowledge of advanced food preparation and handling techniques, familiarity with kitchen equipment operation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards are required.
