About the role

The Kitchen Clerk at Tony's Fresh Markets plays a crucial role in the kitchen team, supporting cooks, bakers, and ensuring food preparation and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Makes salsa and other sides for food entrees
• Washes dishes
• Maintains stoves as ready for cooking
• Ensures products are signed properly
• Ensures all dining tables are cleaned and stocked properly
• Offers sample to customers and engages in suggestive selling
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Regularly required to adjust focus due to vision abilities
• Work environment is typical of an office and retail store
• Noise levels range from quiet to loud
• Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required
• Lifts up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Work schedules are variable, depending on the needs of price changes and may vary.

Pay

The pay scale for this position is $15.00-$20.10 per hour, with manager roles having a bonus target paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics. Individual pay within this range is determined by location and other factors including specific skills, relevant work experience, and education/training.
