About the role
Claiborne Senior Living is hiring a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to support their dining experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Transport dishes, utensils, and equipment to and from the kitchen
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen items
- Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized
- Aid with kitchen breakdown and daily cleaning tasks
- Support dining room service when needed
- Maintain a safe environment by following sanitation and safety standards
- Interact with residents, families, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate any concerns about resident well-being to your supervisor
- Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous restaurant or dining experience preferred
- Experience working with seniors is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
- Team player with a positive, reliable attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
