Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher

Claiborne Senior Living is hiring a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to support their dining experience for residents. The ideal candidate will be part of a supportive team, contribute to a clean and welcoming environment, and make a difference in daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Transport dishes, utensils, and equipment to and from the kitchen
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen items
- Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized
- Assist with kitchen breakdown and daily cleaning tasks
- Support dining room service when needed
- Maintain a safe environment by following sanitation and safety standards
- Interact with residents, families, and guests in a friendly and professional way
- Communicate any concerns about resident well-being to your supervisor
- Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous restaurant or dining experience is preferred, and experience working with seniors is a plus. Strong attention to cleanliness and safety, along with a positive attitude, are essential. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs is also required.
