Responsibilities
The primary role of the Kitchen Aide/Home Health Aide is to provide your assigned clients with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established agency nursing care procedures as directed by your supervisors.
Home Health Functions:
- Assists clients with personal care activities, including but not limited to:
- Bathing – full or partial
- Shampoo/hair care
- Skin care/nail care, including foot soaks
- Oral hygiene/denture care
- Shaving
- Dressing
- Perform household services essential to health care at home, including, but not limited to:
- Meal preparation/feeding
- Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with bowel and bladder control, devices and training programs
- Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following agency guidelines and reporting unsafe situations to the Case Manager
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
Requirements
- Home Health Aide or CNA certification
- Have successfully completed a 75-hour training course and competency evaluation, facilities certified for participation in the Medicare program, or have successfully completed a Nursing Assistant training program approved by the State of Minnesota
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in a Home Health Agency or health care facility strongly preferred

$21.85 per hour
Schedule
10am - 5pm | Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 35 hours per pay period
