About the role
Caregivers are needed to provide in-home support to clients in Ulster County, New York.
Responsibilities
- Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Supporting activities of daily living
- Aiding with mobility and transfers
- Preparing meals
- Providing medication reminders as permitted
- Light housekeeping related to client care
- Providing companionship
- Observing and reporting changes in client condition
- Completing required documentation
- Following established plans of care
Requirements
- Certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in New York State
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate and respectful
- Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a client's home
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
