Kitchen Aide / Cook (Part-Time)

About The Role

Ivinson Memorial Home for Ladies is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Aide/Cook to join our small but mighty kitchen team. In this part-time role, you'll help prepare and serve meals to our senior residents in a warm, home-like environment. You'll work in a tight-knit team of 2–3 people and play a vital role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with meal service three times daily
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas
• Ensure safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Collaborate with team members for efficient meal preparation and service
• Provide friendly, respectful service to all residents

Qualifications

• Food handling certification (ServSafe or similar) required or willingness to obtain (we'll cover the cost of testing!)
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a small team
• Positive attitude and commitment to serving older adults with dignity and care
