Main responsibilities
- Running a dishwasher
- Helping with prepping food
- Delivering food to different classrooms
- Doing laundry
- Keeping a clean work environment
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment
- Maintains daily sanitation duties, including after meal dishes, morning/afternoon toy and classroom sanitations, and morning/end of day sanitation loads
- Aids the Kitchen Manager with daily duties, following direction and requests
- Assists during meal prep and distribution of items to all classrooms
- Ensures refrigerators/freezers and all stored food areas are clean and neat
- Ensures all food and supply items are stored according to standards
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Completes daily laundry loads, returning items to proper classrooms, loading, switching, and running machines
- Sweeps and mops at the end of shift, leaving the kitchen clean and ready for the next day
