Kit Cutter Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and scheduling to team members in their daily activities.
• Assign work, give directions, and monitor work progress.
• Handle product movement and dispatch coordination.
• Effectively communicate needs, priorities, and issues to the Supervisor, relevant departments, logistics, engineering, and production management, including those on different shifts.
• Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and ultimately external customers.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues.
• Train and orient new employees on company standards and procedures.
• Implement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environment.
• Develop employees’ continuous improvement abilities.
• Use and develop visual systems so that no problems are hidden.
• Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.

• Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in warehouse operations, materials handling, storage and delivery, as well as team leadership.
• Basic computer skills.

Benefits

• Competitive pay range of $26.25 - $30.25/hour.
• Flexible schedule: Monday - Wednesday and every other Thursday, 4:00am - 4:30pm.
