Responsibilities
- Provide direction and scheduling to team members in their daily activities.
- Assign work, give directions, and monitor work progress.
- Handle product movement and dispatch coordination.
- Effectively communicate needs, priorities, and issues to the Supervisor, relevant departments, logistics, engineering, and production management, including those on different shifts.
- Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and ultimately external customers.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues.
- Train and orient new employees on company standards and procedures.
- Implement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environment.
- Develop employees’ continuous improvement abilities.
- Use and develop visual systems so that no problems are hidden.
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
- Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Communication skills in a clear, approachable, professional and proactive manner; provide strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining perspective.
- Be creative, flexible and able to drive/guide change.
- Able to multi-task, follow through and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Two years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations, materials handling, storage and delivery, as well as team leadership.
- Basic computer skills.
