About the role
This position is responsible for setting up machinery, lifting, packaging, filling aquariums with specified materials, and completing a final inspection of the product.
Responsibilities
- Set up tape machine, glue machine, and the automatic palletizer.
- Package aquariums and lift them onto roller line.
- Fill kit with specified components.
- Complete a final inspection of the product.
- Clean up work area, dispose of cardboard and garbage.
- Prepare for next day’s production.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand/walk for a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Plant environment with periodic visits to the office area of the plant.
- Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday 5am – 3:30pm with potential overtime on Fridays.
