About the role
We are seeking a legal practitioner to join our team, working alongside Kirsten, a Manawatu local with extensive experience in property, rural, and asset planning law. This role offers the opportunity to serve clients throughout the Manawatu and Rangitikei regions, leveraging our firm’s technology to provide flexible, mobile legal services from client locations, farms, businesses, or any of our premises in Feilding and Marton.
Responsibilities
- Handle property law matters, including commercial property, development, construction, and residential conveyancing.
- Manage rural law cases, such as farm sales and purchases, and succession planning.
- Assist with asset planning and protection, covering all associated legal aspects.
- Provide client-focused legal services in various locations, including homes, farms, businesses, or firm premises.
About the candidate
Kirsten has been in legal practice since 2002, beginning her career at the Crown Law Office in Wellington before moving into property and general practice. She became a Partner at two local law firms after relocating to Feilding in 2010 and rejoined Treadwell Gordon in March 2019. Kirsten is deeply involved in the Manawatu/Rangitikei community through various not-for-profit and community-based organizations.
