About the role

St. Francis de Sales Elementary School is looking to hire a Kindergarten teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach Kindergarten students
• Instruct in core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Maintain classroom management and discipline
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• PA Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• At least one year of teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with children and families

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a criminal history check
• Pass a fingerprint check
• Pass a drug screening
