Responsibilities
- Lesson planning and curriculum development
- Classroom management
- Engage with other childcare professionals
- Communicate with parents daily
- Observe children’s interests and develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Maintains background check eligibility
Qualifications
Passionate about educating young children, creative, patient, energetic, and possesses strong oral/written communication skills.
Skills
- Prior technology experience (SmartBoard, iPads, computers, etc.) is a plus
